New application suite provides law firms with integrated document, records, and email management functionality
Business management systems developer ADERANT will introduce two new product initiatives this year: ADERANT StarLaw and ADERANT Practice Manager. The ADERANT StarLaw product is a result of an acquisition the company made in August 2009 when it acquired the StarLaw Enterprise Information Management suite, which includes applications for document management, records management, and email management. Meanwhile, ADERANT Practice Manager, is a new Software-as-a-Service financial and practice management application for small and mid-sized law firms.
Several leading US law firms, including Cooley Godward Kronish LLP and O’Melveny & Meyers LLP, are early adopters of ADERANT’s new StarLaw application suite. The annual ADERANT Asia Pacific Client Conference launched this morning in true ADERANT style. A visual banquet incorporating clients, sponsors, product images, press releases and showcasing the success of ADERANT Expert ‘Go Lives’ was played to the tune of BONJAH’s, ‘Spin the World’. The Launch continued with a presentation by Bruce Heaney and Mike Barry highlighting the many achievements over the past 12 months and providing a clear and insightful look at the emerging new technology and product initiatives from ADERANT.
Legal firms from all over the Asia Pacific region attended the annual two day ADERANT Conference on 10 and 11 September. Attendees were provided with a range of sessions covering strategic, financial and technical content. The Business Intelligence, Roundtable and Reporting sessions were particularly well attended, along with the Workflow presentations. These extensions to ADERANT’s product suite were received very favourably by firms in attendance, particularly as they are aligned with the Microsoft technology strategy.
