Latest release adds advanced capabilities law firms are requesting to better manage operations for increased revenue and profit

“While PCs are literally shrinking as ever-greater volumes of data fit on smaller and smaller devices, the technology that resides on the PC has never played a larger role in law firms. In an age where firms are turning to business analytics, performance management and knowledge management tools to better run their practices, technology is the key to driving firmwide benefits, such as improved efficiencies, reduced risk, lower costs, greater scalability and more. Thanks to technology, the wealth of data that firms now have at their fingertips on clients, matters, attorneys, financials and more is both a blessing and a curse. This is because, as the data are mined, potential problems and opportunities arise that need immediate attention. This need to be responsive has led firms to realize how critical it is to have access to accurate, relevant information. It’s this information that ensures firms are able to deliver exceptional legal expertise to their clients, as well as efficiently and effectively run the firm. In a profession where people and relationships drive business, technology has quickly become a key member of an ensemble that drives business development, manages the business and automates processes.”

Typically, our lawyers are effective bill collectors-when they make the calls. But it was difficult to get them to bring up the subject with clients, even when we provided accounts receivable information generated from our Aderant Expert time-and-billing system-via lists, reminders, and other notification systems.”
